What happens to the little toy mice that I buy for my cats?

I've bought hundreds of them and they seem to just vanish. Are they in the same place as the socks that dissapear in the laundry? What happens to the little toy mice that I buy for my cats?
I know where they are. Take a broom handle and start scooping. They are under the refridgerator, under dressers, under couches, under the washing machine, under pretty much anything. Oh, and make sure you check underneath the STOVE. I found, like, six under there and that just doesn't seem like the best place for toy mice, what with all the gas and everything.... Do this once a month.

Wanna hear something funny? My college roomate would go through the house ';scooping'; all the mice. We'd stick them in a basket so the cat couldn't get them (as if he didn't know what we were doing anyways). Then, we'd go into the den (a mostly empty room in our house) and toss one mouse on the floor.... Jack (the cat) would go for it... then, just as he was going really nuts and beating the crap out of the toy mouse.... we'd toss all the mouses friends in! Poor Jack would jump three feet into the air, look around, then go nuts on all the mice. It was like watching a kung-fu movie where the good guy has to fight 20 bad guys all at once.... Good times! What happens to the little toy mice that I buy for my cats?
Little toy mice have been disappearing by the dozens in my house too. We are planning a major gut/renovation of the house someday.Maybe then the mystery will be solved.
check in pantries, under the stove, in closets, under the washer and dryer...any place small enough that it can get knocked in there but the cat can't get to it...i'm the same way...there's toys all over the house here and i have no clue where half of them are...
Haha we've pretty much given up on those little toys as they find more amusment in a piece of paper or a paper bag. But when we did have them, we would find literally like 10 balls under the refridgerator, like 15 mice under the stove, a bunch a weird little kitty toys in the couch, and sometimes they would just vanish. lol it was crazy.
Sometimes, they get chewed up.... or, if you have a large cat.....chewed on, then sadly swallowed....
Kitties hide their 'prey' and then you find them later. LOL. They just put them aside for safe keeping or when the get bored.....lol
haha i have bought so many toys for my cats and just like you they seem to vanish in thin air :) some have been recovered tho in places like under the stove, under the fridge, in my shoes, in my purse, under couchs etc, in the food bowl, in the laundry, under the bed and many other places---sadly there are mice out there that have never been found lol
More likely they're under the furniture, the fridge, the stove, the washing machine, the dryer....
Same thing happend to me! I think they maybe eat them, or rip them to little tiny pieces. I did find one behind the entertainment center...no idea how it got there.
they go to the little toy mouse heaven...you will find them all when you move...lol
lol! i've wondered this!!! i search the entire house, under couches, in closets, under appliances... usually i find maybe a couple when i KNOW there's at LEAST a couple dozen around SOMEWHERE!!! unless they eat them, but i can't imagine they'd do that (esp the crinkly foil ones!)
