Mice??????

I have a mice problem in my house, to make a long story short, I also have dogs, what's the best way to get rid of the mice.Mice??????
1) try to put your dogs on a place where you know the mice won't go to.





2) either call exterminator or buy things that you know that can kill mice.(spray,pellets, etc.)





3) look for the place where they come from





4) there might be a family of mice there. if you see the grown up ones kill them with the things you have. kill babies if you arent those people who think they're cute.

I would suggest the glue traps also, someplace where the dogs can not get to them. It hurt to rip a glue trap off a short haired dog(we had to, and I'm glad it was the short haired one, not the long haired one!!)


I was told by the exterminator (friend of mine who put some powder down for the mice) that you SHOULD NOT put peanut butter on the glue trap. A: Mice don't care about the peanut butter, they stay to the wall baseboards anyway. They use their wiskers to feel the wall...and stay with it. B: the peanut butter is oily, which means that in order for the mice to get off the glue trap, they just need get to the peanut butter, and get oily. He also told me that manufacutrers tend to make the glue trap smell like peanut butter anyway!
We just got a cat for the same problem:P


I suggest you make all food sources unattainable to them(plastic containers) lid for dog food.


Ase humane traps,


peanut butter on traps has worked well for us,


sonar(sonic) plug-ins,


find the holes they are coming tru and stuff wire wool in there,


we also at one point borrowed a neighbours cat to leave the scent in the house if deterred the mice for a couple of weeks!
Get yourself some mouse traps and set them where your animals won't get to them. I have seen mice drag the glue traps 4 or 5 feet from where they are set, and also get away!!


They don't die right away, they stuggle to get off, I don't care for them. Peanut butter works well on the traps.
You could do the evil thing and use a mouse trap :(





or go the nice way and lead it out with food and noise!

get a cat!
