How can i get rid of a mice in my room and don't ask me to kill it?

I have a fear of mice and i don't want to touch it, either. Is there a way i can trap it without feeding it poison? If i catch it, i just want to let it loose outside. How can i get rid of a mice in my room and don't ask me to kill it?
They sell traps at Home Depot that don't harm the mice (trust me I love mice!) that you can release the mice into the wild. How can i get rid of a mice in my room and don't ask me to kill it?
Since a mouse can get back in through a hole as small as a dime you can bet if you caught it and let it go outside it would be back in by the next day. You can't have it both ways. Either catch it and destroy it or let it stay in your house.

Don't forget that for each mouse you see there are probably another 50 of them out of sight somewhere near your room.
Why not kill it?
Get an opera CD and play it real loud and it will scare the mouse away. Mice is plural.
Mice are like homing pigeons, then catch a bus and return to base. Buy the new type of mouse trap .... plastic and with an external spring. Catch and release the dead without touching the body ... brilliant but no good for catching rats !
I used to get some traps called Have-A-Heart. They trap the mouse alive so that you can release it somewhere else. Check your local hardware store or home improvement center.
You can get a live trap which traps them but dosn't hurt them, but if you let them go they will just come back in.
OMG CANNOT BELIEVE HOW MANY ANSWERS YOU GOT TO THIS, LOADS OF GOOD ADVICE BUT PICKING ONE OUT, OH DEAR WHAT A TASK YOU HAVE ON YOUR HANDS.

Good luck
yes there are friendly mouse traps you can buy, you can use peanut butter or chocolate which you put inside the trap to attract them, which wont usually take long! then once they are inside they cant get back through the door and all you have to do is release them back outside, search on-line or go to a pet shop or local vet and they should be able to tell you where to get it from.

good luck!
You wont just have one to catch , unless it is just a field mouse that has come in to the house for a bit of warmth.

The best way to make them move out is to get a cat , even borrow a friends if you can

However you may be forced to call in a pest controller because if you don't do something now you will probably be over run fairly soon.

If you live in an apartment the factor should be consulted as all in the block should contribute to any costs.
there is a special tipe of mice powder you can get from your nearby store. basicly the powder messes up the mice's nerv system! and the mice will go

hope it helps :)
TRUST ME THIS WORKS I USED TO HAVE THEM IN MY HOUSE, NOW THEY ARENT THERE ANYMORE- http://www.pesthelp.co.uk/weshop/mouse-t鈥?/a>

and buy the Pestclear 2000 Mouse Repeller
get some cheese attached to the lid of a cage the mouse eats the cheese the string snaps in the cage sorted
If they smell a cat they run ! Get a cat
there is special glue for mice put it on a piece of thick paper %26amp; put a piece of cheese in the middle .

it will takes few minutes ( peacefully )
Mice can be very hard to get rid of, pop singer Barry Manilow once

had one that nested in his nose for three weeks, he had to wait till it went insane listening to his wailing before luring it to it`s death with a plethora of goodies.
You have to kill them there Rodents
A lot of people have mentioned humane traps, which is far and away the best way to do it, but I would add a couple of things.

Firstly, bait it with peanut butter, hazelnuts or (and don't ask how we found this one!) Bounty bars. Secondly, when you do trap it, you need to release it half a mile away at the very least or it'll come back, and thirdly that their entry points are often smaller than you'd think: if you can get a pencil into a gap, a mouse can use it.

Good luck!
I don't want to worry you but once one got into bed with me - it tickled! There is never never only one mouse so a cat is the best answer otherwise move house
you can set a trap. A little cage where you put the cheese or peanut butter on bread at the far end of the cage, when the mouse enters the cage the door shuts and traps it in the cage. You can then let it loose out side. The farther away from your house the better. Or, you might get another visit. Better hope it doesn't have a family living in between your walls.
There are traps that will catch the mouse without you having to touch it, or even look at it. It is a small container, and when the mouse enters it, the cover closes. You can then take it outside lift the cover and let the mouse out. They are gentle and don't injure the mice.
get a bottle with a neck big enough for the mouse to get through then put some cheese in the bottle lay it on its side the mouse will go in and can not get out because it is too smooth then take the bottle with the mouse and release it
put my socks near the mousehole,!!phew!!!!1
You can now purchase a rodent repellent in shops that sell these that you plug in %26amp; it makes that room unfriendly to the rodent.

They are avertised on tv if this helps. I forget the name for the moment I thinks it's by JML produtcs.

Or try a pet shop or local authority for info on a friendly mouse trap that catches it live so you can eject it into the country side. Try the internet our the local Thompson/Yellow pages for info to. You may have to pay.. As I did to get rid of a wasp nest in the garden as the local authority couldn't do nothing for over a month so be prepared.

best of luck

get a cat.
Yes mice are scared of even the smell of a cat,so get one as a pet they will dissappear unless you cant stand them.
silly girl, ur afraid of them yet you dont want to kill it. yeah, ';set outside it will definitely get lost'; NO. mice are very smart. you'll need sticky sheets and when they get trapped toss it in the nearest sewer drainage. hey remember the circle of life.
Try getting a large glass jar, tilt it on it's side (make sure it can't fall over) and put some bait in the bottom. Hopefully, the rat mouse will climb in for food but can't get out. Then you can release it into the wild! (If it is a mouse that can jump really high you might have problems)
It needs to be killed by you with De-con, a trap, a cat or an exterminator. The cat will have to stay unless you like it or figure a humane way to get rid of that..
Sorry to inform you sweety, but I doubt you are gonna catch that sucker unless you use poison or a trap.
