What are some good home made toys for mice and or rats?

I have both rats and mice and i think they would like to have some things they could play and explore on, what are some things that they would like and that i can make with stuff around the house???What are some good home made toys for mice and or rats?

Well they love to explore so you could get them one of those plastic balls that they can run around in or, rats and mice love to nibble and chew you can find a wooden play toy at your local pet store thats safe for them to play with :) sorry but there may not be much are a home that is safe for rats and mice
My mice love to climb, you could get a thick rope and tie a few knots in it and hang it from the top of the cage. Some may not like to climb on it but mine do so it's an idea. Also anything they can go inside even just towelpaper rolls. As long as you don't see them chewing something they shouldn't be like plastics or metals just have fun with it and try different things.
Get some small twigs from outside and wash them. Keep my hamster busy for hours! Your pets may like toys but they will love playing with you so spend as much time as possible with them. Rodents are easily amused so you dont have to do anything too fancy!!! :)
toilet paper tubes :D. they chew em, hide in em, sleep in em. they like it.
