What kind of snakes eat anything besides mice?

Is there a type of snake that doesn't eat mice because I am scared of rats, and mice. Also does a milk snake only eat mice?

P.S. It would help if you would answer both questions, or at least try to anyways, but you don't have to. THANX!What kind of snakes eat anything besides mice?
They sell frozen mice, which come in little bags and you thaw them out before feeding them to the snake.

Mice are a good food for snakes, as crickets aren't nutritional enough. You really won't have much of a choice as to what you can feed the snake. What kind of snakes eat anything besides mice?
Garter, Ribbon (similar to garters, but lighter in skin tone) and Green snakes can eat feeder minows and crickets. Their bits seem feel more ticklish than hurting. I find garters all the time around my hosue during the mid spring to late fall and I live in NY too. I found one today too. :P

Yes green tree snakes eat only insects but thay are hard to look after. Normally captive snakes are fed on mice and rats that inludes milk snakes but you can also feed them hamsters and baby chicks. Most people buy mice and rats thay are pre killed and frozen all you need to do is de-frost them feed snakes live food hold risks to the snakes. The are som snaks which live in water and feed on fish but these are hard to get. If your scared of mice and rats and you still not happy to feed a snake th de-frosted i wouldent recommed you get a snake.
i think it's a king snake that eats other snakes.
snakes eat meat and mice are meat so any snake will eat a mouse and anacondas like ppl
fish
any snake will eat a mice. if it can. they will also eat frogs or anything small enough. they arent picky, you would be feeding it pinkys which are baby mice that dont really do muc moving.
well, most snakes that eat mice will go for chicks.....if you want to go that route..

Some snakes ONLY eat lizards...some only bugs (not many species though) Some will eat other snakes....some will eat goats and rabits....etc
a water snake
I saw on a Michael Moore film of a

snake that ate a rabbit.
Pythons can eat birds.
Yeah snakes like mice. i have one. Some large pythons or boa's eat huge animals. like zebras. or crocodiles. no joke
Rough green snakes are lovely and eat crickets. Garter snakes eat fish. All snakes can eat frozen/defrosted mice, it's just like buying meat. Young corn snakes can eat anole lizards.
some snakes eat bunnys. but uhm, if u are really afraid of mice then [[i know this sounds gross...]] there are frozen mice you can get.. the snakes will eat those.

or get someone else to feed it...

good luck!!

congrats on your new pet!! =]

hope this helps!! 鈾モ櫏
okay well im assuming the fear has to do with feeding live rodents to the snake...which is not recommended anyways because of the risk that the rodent bites your snake and causes infection. Most snake owners feed their pet frozen/thawed rodents (which also helps cuz they dont look nearly as cute...for those who dont mind the real thing). Furthermore, fish can be fed to some snakes, although you dont want that to be the only food source, as it can cause yellow fat disease, which happens when there is to high amino acids found in the food. Frogs can also be okay, but you wont find them sold too often, and can be dangerous to your snake if wild caught, as they may have been in contact with such things as pesticides, which could lead to killing your snake too. BUT there is hope....there are now sausages made especially for snakes. i live in canada, and have never seen them in any stores, but they are available online. And yes kingsnakes so eat other snakes...probably not what you are looking for. And yes, like most other small sized snakes, milk snakes eat rodents. (all snakes are carnivorous, very few species will eat things like slugs)
You could give it frogs, lizards, frozen mice, and birds. You could try a ball python.
You can feed with frozen mice/rats. We (boyfriend and I) have 4 snakes. Two of them eat live mice and the larger two (boas) eat frozen rats, and are graduating to frozen rabbits as they get bigger. Not sure about the milk snake as we have pythons and boas.

If you don't want to deal with rodents at all (dead or alive) a Garter Snake is about all your left with. They eat earthworms, slugs, insects and whatnot...
most captive snakes eat mice but u can get frozen mice at your local pet store, so that u dont have 2 deal with live mice and rats. frozen mice are better 4 the snake too...........................4 the milk snake, mice is the best thing 2 feed it
Most snakes don't really eat mice and i don't know
