How can mice be generated by placing rags and bran together in a tub?

Apparently, this is written by an old scientist but it works.

How?How can mice be generated by placing rags and bran together in a tub?
Simple: it doesn't. That is a process known as ';spontaneous generation'; (the spontaneous creation of complex multicellular organisms in extrememly short periods of time by placing various materials together in a certain configuration), and it has been long ago disproven by Francesco Redi and Louis Pasteur. If mice appear in the tub, it is likely that there were mice in the vicinity to begin with, and they got trapped in the tub when they found the bran and decided to go eat it.

Note that spontaneous generation is not to be confused with evolution. The two are very different processes. How can mice be generated by placing rags and bran together in a tub?
They aren't generated ^___^

they just come to the rags and bran, they eat the bran becaus they are natrually attracted to it, and they make nests in the rags. Its a bit or a biology joke.
