Hi I have a few fancy mice. I feed them the gerbel/mice food and different types of seeds. I also give them snacks like cherrios, rice, pumpkin seeds, carrots, and oats. I was wondering if you guys feed them any interesting types of snacks?What are some good snacks for fancy mice?
I give mine cooked rice, lima beans and garden peas, and stale whole wheat bread. They love those things. I hear a little hard-boiled egg is ok once in a while as well. Pellets are no good for rodents, I won't feed commercially made pellets. Studies show rodents fed on pellets have enlarged pancreas size, which is not good.What are some good snacks for fancy mice?
cheese.
Fresh veggies would be good.
