What is the difference between fancy mice and normal mice?

I am thinking of getting three mice and I was wandering what a fancy mouse is and if it is a better pet than a normal mouse and could you maybe add some photos thnx.What is the difference between fancy mice and normal mice?
Fancy Mice are domesticated breeds of the common or house mouse. The terms fancy and ';feeder mice'; are often used interchangeably by retailers, and are in fact the same variety of mouse. Just selectively bread for showing.





So.. no difference really :P

We have fancy silk mice, they are small than most types and their fur looks silky.





One BIG word of warning - get FEMALES and not males as the males smell is worst and believe me it is so offensive that i have even thought about taking ours back to the pet shop, its been that bad.





They are really cute and make great pets, very friendly and inquisitive, but just make sure you get females ;-)
