Ok, so I have mice and have been trying to get rid of them for months. I have been keeping dry snacks on top of the fridge i.e. chips, honeybuns etc.....but the mice somehow get up there and eat through everything.....anyone have solutions? how do mice get up there? How do mice get on top of my refrigerator?
My way is doing this, is by going and buy extra thick tupperwear, put everything in them, mice have been known to chew thru cheap tupperware cont, anyway they climb on the back coil assemblys up to your stasth of goodee'sHow do mice get on top of my refrigerator?
i have the same problem! it surprised me during midnight when i was getting water! haha

well, we called a terminator and he said they live in my attic and have chewed trough the AC vents and are getting in through there... he set traps all over the place and i haven't seem them since!

:) call a specialist!
mice climb walls and sometimes the coils on back of frig. They would not be able to climb that high from the side of the slippery frid. If there are no holes in your cupboards, store the snacks in there. When do food available from sink/counter, dirty dishes, floor, open garbage cans or counters/tables, pet food, etc.., they will then be interested in food in the snap traps. Sticky peanut butter works well if you apply small amounts. Set up several traps. Keep at it to eliminate the current mice. Now you also need to seal up any openings from a 'new' supply of mice getting in. Steel wool around all pipe holes: under sinks, behind washer/dryer, to gas stove, etc..
To keep them out, keep them in tupperware, or other closed containers. Now, mice are very light weight compared to the length and sharpness of their claws, therefore they can literally climb the walls. Anything that has a porous surface is fair game for a mouse, just as a cat can climb a tree mice can climb anything, and they can jump great distances, even when hanging from a wall. So no place is completely safe from a mouse.
get a number of the flat sticky boards and place them on top of the fridge about one inch back from the edge with the snacks in the middle of them.

The large out door roaches can also eat through packaging and get to the dry goods.... http://www.arrow-pestcontrol.com/roachdr鈥?/a>
