the cold, the mices are invading the building, creating a lot disturbance, dirty with they feaces but he doesn't want to kill or hurt the animals. Is there anything he can do to stop them come in the house?Mice, mouse, rats everywhere? My friend has a farm house in Scotland and with the cold?

get a bag of onions or what ever it takes and spread it all around the house when they bite into it they will slowly but surely start to move out of the house. By around O mean on all the bottoms of the walls. Next summer tell him to plant onions all around the exterior of the house that way the mice, rats, etc wont come inside the house.
Mice and rats spread diseases, I would kill them all with mouse traps before they breed and running all over the place!
Mice or rats? Its unusual to have both. Rat droppings are the size of cigarette butts.


Either way, they can both be dangerous. Both will gnaw through electric cables and potentially cause a fire
