How can I rid of mice from my house?

Uhm, I probably would like a non-leathal way...Though, I'd rather them just leave. How can I rid of mice from my house?
Squirrel traps might work but the bars might be too big, meaning the mice could fit through them, but something to that effect could be what you want. There are non-lethal ways you just need to look, try looking up squirrel traps, there might be small ones you could buy.How can I rid of mice from my house?
I understand u don't want to hurt them...but let me assure U...that there is no way, no how...that they r going to just going up %26amp; pack their little bags %26amp; leave. U need to either have someonelse do it...what U don't see ...definitly won't hurt U...Out of sight...Out of Mind.
set traps.
mice carry germs, poop and pea every time they take a step and can have babies several times a year. they will ruin every thing they touch. every year i put d con out in the garage and inside the house being careful to keep it away from the kids and pets. i have used traps. i used glue traps once , but what to do when you catch one is a problem in its self. i caught one once and had a hard time killing it . i didn't know what to do so my cat swooped in and that was that. good luck
They wont go unless you kill em as far as I know. Get a cat if your not elergic to em. The cats might kill them I dont know but it seems to work. Mouse traps with Peanut Butter is best if a cat isnt the option. Not cheese peanut butter.
get a cat they givem away at some pet stores and the animal shelter its the best way to get rid of mice
You can't just ask them to leave. They won't listen. Mice can turn into a nightmare if you let it go to long. Two turn into a dozen rather quickly. Use a combination of traps and poison.
O kay leaving them to have the run of your house is not good mice can carry many diseases the most harmful being the Hanta virus.Non lethal is the old stand by mouse snap trap.Another option is something called a Tin Cat or a Ketch All trap these are live traps that can be purchased from a pest control company or maybe a farm supply store they are product names so just ask for them by name.Seal up the major cracks to the home to pest proof it and hope for the best
put anything they can get into like flour, cereal and sugar into plastic or glass containers. make sure there is absolutely no food anywhere, not even a crumb then set sticky traps. you trap them alive. you can either kill them or peel them off and toss them outside.

you have to find out how they are getting in and seal that up.
First clean up all the hiding and junky areas.

Make sure no food is left laying about.

Then either use some mouse traps or bait or both which is the best option.
Get a kitty.
a tiger or snake that hasn't been fed in a few days, just make sure you're not in the house.

or just a mouse trap and some cheese?
put some rat poison in corners of your house. also set some rat traps.
you can get traps that don't harm them, like sticky paper esp for trapping rats and mice, then when you've got them all out get a cat to house sit
get a cat, Tom and Jerry team will be in action
you should set traps, if you don't want to see death mice, there are traps kind of cages, that close when something gets in, if it doesn't work, you can call those exterminators, they will decide what is the best way do get rid of them. Sometimes, it is no about killing or catching them if they may have their burrow in the house next door!!! they will continue getting in to yours, so, a professional, will detect this...hope you solve it ^^
there are humane traps. You can even build a simple one yourself.

put a flat wooden ruler on the edge of a counter with peanut butter on the end. balance it so a mouse could go almost to the edge before it tips into a trash can or basket.

They aren't really smart.

Check the can every day and take him outside and down the street and let him go.
Rat's and mice are the most promiscuous rodents on earth. They multiply very fast and they carry diseases such as rabies, viruses sometimes and they bite. So humanely, if you want to do it that way is on this one site along with other methods. I just use Rat Poisoning that you buy in the store. It works, but you have to keep it away from animals. Go to this site for more info: http://www.howtogetridofstuff.com/pest-c鈥?/a> There are a few other things that this site gives to get rid of , too.
Fill the front of your house with enough cheese so they can move out!
Traps, rat poison. There is no nice way.
They sell ';live traps';, looks like a long square box. Its has a trap door, lets em in, but not out. Put a little peanut butter in there, its even better than cheese. You'll have to release them FAR away from the house, or they'll come back.

Other than that, there's a ton of different traps, from sticky tape traps to mouse and rat poison pellets. You don't want them dying in the walls and stuff though, stinky.
If you have mice you have to use a trap, poison or a cat.

Never seen a trap to catch a mouse to let it go in the park. That would be silly.
Traps. Kill 'em quick. They're in there making more.

Relocating just makes them someone else's problem, they find their way back, or slowly starve to death.

Poisons end up with mouse carcases rotting where they die.
Cats are always good, but if you want them gone ';yesterday'; ... bait some spring traps with peanut butter, guaranteed success!
Buy a Big Fat Cat
with chese
GET A FERRET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Poisons

If you decide to go the poison route, stick with the poisons that come in tamper-proof bait stations and do not put them anywhere a pet, child, or non-target animal can get to them. It is generally advised that poison be used as a last resort because you will have mice dying all around your house - even in very hard to reach places. Rotting mice mean horrible smells, and decomposing flesh attracts many other pests. Why trade one problem for another? If traps aren鈥檛 working, consult an exterminator before filling your home with poison.

Predators

Dogs - Contrary to popular belief, dogs can be better at killing mice than cats. That鈥檚 actually how rat terriers got their name.

Cats - Yes, cats injure rodents too, and then they play with them and kick them around your house before killing them and presenting them to you as a gift. awwwww, how cute. Cat鈥檚 trained to hunt rodents are called mousers. Neither cats nor dogs are completely effective by themselves.

Barn Owls - Barn owls are extremely efficient at getting rid of mice. One family of barn owls can eat up to 15 mice every night! Consider erecting a nesting box to attract them onto your property.

MY OWN TIPS-

I have heard that sprinkiling baking soda on the areas were mice are found work great

Also adding some vinager to the spot works good

f they are getting your bait off the snap traps without setting it off, try wrapping taffy or another sticky candy around the metal pole and then coating it with peanut butter鈥?they fight like crazy to get that taffy off and SNAP!!!!! you got鈥檓!!!!

Sprinkle peppermint oil on cotton balls and place them in the areas where the rodents run in your house. They hate it and don鈥檛 want anything to do with it. You can get Peppermint oil at a health food store or GNC.

he plastic reusable %26amp; disposable traps work great. I got 2 mice in a 12 hour span. this is the first time I have ever had a problem with pests (other than my children)lol鈥ut the traps were cheap and I set them at point of entry and exit (in front of the stove under the baseboard. ) that way when they come out and turn the corner, snap, they run right into it.

GOOD LUCK !
want to borrow a cat!!!!
