Mice!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

weve had mice for a few months now. my mom is so scared of mice she wants to move. I dont know where they are coming from. they started to chew up a bag of rabbit food under the sink and are under the sink and stuff. now one is under my bed!!!!!!!! im so scared. we have used sticky traps, but we wanna find a way to get rid of them so they dont come back that doesnt cost too much. how can we get rid of these mice???Mice!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
First block up holes under the sink and any other openings under wood work and where walls meet in the house..a mouse can squeeze threw an opening as small a quarter! Do this with steel wool pads..such as S.O.S. or Brillo shredded up and stuffed tightly in the holes around water pipes and drains etc. Then use expanding foam sealant over the areas to tightly seal them. Clean all wastes and trash from counters/floors..etc. You said you have a rabbit...make sure food for your animal is out of the way in a sealed container..not left open on the floor. Glue traps are the easiest to use and dispose of. If you have access to the basement of the house make sure glue traps are left there as well...cracks along the foundation is most probably where your problem started...in the colder weather, mice look for a warm winter home..which is usually your house.

IF you find openings along the sill of the foundation or around pipes in the cellar...seal them with the expanding foam/steel wool that should take care of your problem...The landlord of the property is responsible for pest control and extermination...make sure you okay anything you do and tell him/her of the problem your having as well. Every City and Town has a Office for Housing Standards...Minium Housing/Building Inspector/Board of Health. If you have to, have the property inspected a rodent problem is something the landlord has to address by law! Good Luck.Mice!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

First get the rabbit food out of the house. Rabbits and mice are both rodents and eat similar foods. Don't leave any uncovered food out. Mice love peanut butter so don't eat in your bedroom. Keep all food covered tightly. A reputable exterminator should be able to get any remaining mice out and give you expert advice on keeping them out. If you live in a rural area, the mice are trying to keep warm by coming inside. Plug all obvious mouse holes. Some people plug the holes with foil then patch with spackle.
They did construction on an empty field next to our home and we became invaded by the field mice. They got into the bird food and the dog food, then my daughter could no longer keep her kitten where she was staying and brought it over. The kitten was getting the mice left and right, and have not seen any signs of mice for weeks.
There are some mice deterrents. One that really works puts out a high frequency noise, that people cannot hear, but they can, and they will flee the sound, because it is that irritating to them. Another way to keep them under control is to get either a cat or a snake. They also will do the trick. Even a ferret will work, and if you have air ducts, a ferret will go and get all the mice out of there for you as well.
Get some wooden mouse traps they are super cheap use peanut butter as bait. I throw them away trap and all when I get one good luck
Victorpest.com has good information about traps and bait. I personally prefer a snap trap, but they have other kinds as well. Click on the link:
Good luck. i got them too. I had tried everything but they are smart Lil boogers. Find out how they r getting in?? Plug holes with Brillo pads or some say cotton balls with peppermint oil on it. They hate these things. Make sure all food is keep up sealed and put away. Keep dog cat rabbit food up at night. Empty the bowls so its not out all night. Mice can fit threw holes the size of dimes it will take work to plug holes but it has worked so far for me . Good luck
put about 34 inches of water in a 5 gallon bucket

smear peanut butter around inside edges about 2 inches below the top

put a ramp up to the bucket

they will come to eat the peanut butter and fall in bucket and drown

then just empty bucket into trash

simple , it really works awsome

if have a basement put bucket there
Spring traps baited with peanut butter work well. Sticky traps are very inhumane. I have a good mouser cat and have never seen a mouse since.
