How do you HUMANELY remove mice or other varmants from inside walls in home?

How do you HUMANELY remove mice or other varmants from inside walls in home? We have set mouse traps inside the house, next to the wall we hear them in. Traps have been set using peanut butter, and have been set for a couple weeks now. No mice. Perhaps they never come inside our house. But my worry is when they die inside the walls, stinking up the house! Help! How do you HUMANELY remove mice or other varmants from inside walls in home?
The first question that I have for you is where are you going to move them to after you catch them? You have to go quite a distance for them not to make it back into your home. That said, they make humane mouse traps and the last time I checked they had them at Wal-Mart. I have used them in the past and they work well. If they are in your walls only you have to find accesses to the inside of If the peanut butter is not working try the cheese. I use mouse poisning with no problems at my house. The only time that I have had a problem with the oder is when they die inside my home. How do you HUMANELY remove mice or other varmants from inside walls in home?
Step 1 Place instant mashed potato flakes near openings where mice are entering the home. The mice or rats will eat the flakes and in time, the flakes swell in the mice鈥檚 stomach and prevent digestion. The mice die after 2 to 3 days. Use dried oats in the same manner.

Step 2 Soak a cotton ball with pure peppermint oil and place near openings, in cabinets, under counters and near garbage cans. Mice do not like the smell of peppermint and will avoid the home and continue traveling. Replace the cotton balls every few weeks for as long as rodents are noticeable. Oil of cloves and mint sprigs work as well. These oils will eliminate flies as well.

Step 3 Make a paste of boric acid, flour and water. Mix 1 tbsp. of boric acid and 1/2 cup of flour with just enough water to make a thick paste. Roll the paste into small balls and place in the corner of cabinets, under the sink, near openings into the home and behind appliances. This eliminates roaches as well. Do not place the paste anywhere children or pets can access them as boric acid is a poison.
Hav-a-heart traps. I borrowed one for free from my local ASPCA. When they take the bait, the door shuts behind and they're secured in a wire cage. You can then safely transport and release them.

The most effective way I found in dealing with rodents is to take a 5-gal bucket, fill it 1/2 way with water. Take a 2x4 or other piece of scrap wood and lean it against the lip of the bucket to make a ramp. Sprinkle sunflower seeds (bird food type) on the ramp and pour a bunch of them into the bucket. Keep pouring until the top layer of seeds looks dry. The rodents eat the seeds on the ramp %26amp; when they get to the top they jump in %26amp; drown. I do this outside of course.
Get a cat. Even if the cat really isn't a mouser, the presence of a cat will deter mice. If you don't want a cat then try spreading cat litter (used of course) around the house. Mice are very sensitive toward cat urine. Some small dogs can be good mousers too. One more thing, get rid of the peanut butter and go back to real cheese.
