As we r sitting in our living room in an evening we can hear the mice in the ceiling above.We have put poison down but there is no more evidence that they have come back into our house,but we can still hear them.How do u get rid of mice that r in the skirting boards floorboards and living room ceiling?

My parents often have mice in their attic - they seem to return every few years! Dad gets rid of them with the spring-type traps, and catches a few every night for a couple of weeks, then carries on laying the traps down for another couple of weeks, just in case! He has never managed to find every tiny place they are getting in, and the only time they were mice-free was when they had a cat!

do what my colleague did and go to your nearest cats protection and adopt lots of cats! when they have killed all the mice return them and tell the protection people sorry, you've tried to keep them but they keep attacking your kid, and give them back. bish bash bosh job done!
rat catches are great i'm not into hurting animals but its the only way to get rid as there family just keeps getting bigger and bigger oh and a bit of cheese not a wind up cheese wait and see how many you catch just put it where you hear them most.
Don't use poison, because they die in agony and they may do so in a place that is inaccessible, the smell would be horrendous, use traps and bait them with chocolate!
The ones you hear in the ceiling are Flying Mice and can only be eradicated by machine gunning from a bi-plane.
